Braces re-fitted today.

that breather clipped onto the lefthand sill can be shortened, just use 150mm of hose and connect it direct to the charcoal filter (on the driverside), saves a little weight

the plastic section on top of the charcoal filter can be removed, gently prise it upwards, makes the job easier. also cut the old hose off that plastic section rather than try to slide it off, then use a little oil to help the short section on. if you want it to look neat and tidy you should get the breather to sit snug in the other hoses, then trim the hose to the correct length I will see if I have a pic .....

Cheers Vocky I've not yet done this. Job before clam gets bolted.

Did get the heat sheilding done on the clam just need to work out where the boot cable routes not as seems far longer than is required?

Bonded the Tubby Ears this evening.

The paint on them wears extra hard with wider front tyres, and may require a respray in some time.
Bonding them over screwing may not be the best option. .

That reminds me Marty, do you want to send me back your race teamware and I'll have a go at correcting Biffie's typo?
Or have you become fond of your new name now?

You may want to firmly anchor the wiring bundles either side of the plugs to the header tank bracket. Helps prevent 'loom of doom'. On of my anchors has come away and guess what I'm suffering. Not that I'm bitter....grumble grumble.

Yeah when they get scuffed I'll either spray em again or wrap them.. It's just the grilles that are bonded to the tubby ear they are still removeable with OEM Fitting points.. (That took a while to get right as they didn't exist on the NA)

Yeah as much as I like the name Marty I've grown quite fond of Matty so yes would like them sorted. PM me your details and either Biff (See what I did there lol) or myself will get them back to you but I will need them back in time for Knockhill..

They're on there reasonably tight was thinking of a couple of tag ties to secure them..
