I'd split 'em and spray the silver parts white while you're sorting out the lenses. The silver looks out of place now you've changed everything else.

Got to pluck up the courage to split them!

Although found a company in Grimsby that will refurb the lenses and polycarb laquer them again to 3 microns.

Post up the results when you get them done. One of my lenses could do with some TLC. How much does it cost?

Got him down to £60 per light won't be done for a while cash being spend on more important things!

Hopefully not the same company NickB777 used who returned them in a worse condition than they were when sent and charged him for the privilege.

Was going to say same thing. Think they turned around and said it cant be done any better blah blah. Nobody seems to have had much luck with refreshing the lenses. Most talk for non oem lights has resulted in possibly making just lenses as they are the bits that need replacing.

Was a company called Glasstechnics and he paid £70 for the pair and got sweet FA in return.

Here's the thread:

Well after a good evenings work the VX is 99% ready for the MOT just a couple of last minute jobs to do beforehand. Bolt the dash back in and set the ride heights on the shocks so I can get it on the MOT ramp. (Oh yeah and book an MOT!!!) Anything I should be wary of for the MOT?? And does anyone know a VX friendly MOT station in the Luton/Dunstable/MK Area?

TMS used (might still do) to take their VXs there so they know the car.
