I've used T&H in Bletchley area of Milton Keynes before. Good bunch of guys (or at least were).

TMS used (might still do) to take their VXs there so they know the car.

:yeahthat:

That's where I know them from. Didn't want to post the word 'Thorney' up though for fear of inciting the Thorney bashers.

Yep, not much less for me. Especially as I was crawling along early on a Saturday morning, cringeing whenever I saw another car heading my way. I'd even got a load of shrink wrap on the front of the car in an effort to protect it.

So did they do a good job? If so have you got details?

Yep, did a very good job. Took about 4 hours for them to do the full front end kit and I also got the complete sills covered. Was done by a company called Bodyguard UK and they did a better price than any of the others I spoke to as well. Had an absolutely spotless workshop.

3M list a Ventureshield fitter in Tring in their dealer locator, if that's easier.

Cheers Techie!

Now I have a dilemma I think reccomendations are alway a good start. But then Tring is on my doorstep (Less miles to travel at snail's speed!) I'll give them both a call see who sounds the best!!

Don't necessarily settle for the first price either. I found there was a fair bit of movement in the prices. thumbsup

Firsty - I sorted out my alarm - Used my other key fod and all is well so I'm assuming the other key fob has unpaired itself somehow..

Secondly - After a night working on the VX finally got it ready for the MOT today. Drum Rol........

Balls failed on 3 stupid things.

1. Headlights not aligned

2. Rubber gaitor on the track rod end holed

3. Nearside Handbrack not working.

Fixed all 3 within an hour and headed off back to the MOT station

I do have a concerning question though..... Car was sorn and without MOT or TAX and is did go through several number plate cameras the grey ones next to some speed cameras so I'm sure it's picked me up. What happens now will I get a nice letter from the Police/VOSA??

Cheers I've had to TAX it online so STILL can't drive it until it turns up..

Yeah I checked online at Direct Gov and Ask the police.. So should be fine just don't want to have to write to them to prove it really was going for MOT. Would have thought the camera's won't know that I on my way to the testing station?

You need to be stopped by the police for a slap to be dealt out. Eg driving through camera might ping a warning to local police cars but you won't get busted in the post.
