I'd refrain from using vinyl. The tub usually comes up quite nice if you put the elbow grease in. Have you considered a carpet set? The rest of the interior is quite 'plush' looking so would fit in nicely. Good job, looks stunning so far!

I had Ventureshield applied by them on my Europa. Very happy with their work, and with the paint protection. Good choice!

Been playing about with my side sills they where in pretty bad shape so thought I'd try to make them look a bit better the drivers side was in 3 seperate pieces (sorry no before pics) had to fibreglass them back together then attacked them with a sander Drivers is pretty much done and pax just sanded waiting for the rain to stop so I can prime and top coat.

Right back from the days hoon - Things to fix:
  • Knocking from steering column wobbling left and right getting a clocking each way (Hoping it just needs to be tightened!)
  • EML light keeps coming on Faulty Code P0141
  • Door to bits to fit the window adjuster that fell out!!
  • Variety of metalic clocks coming from the front passeger side when on rough tarmac.
  • Find lots more power so I can keep up with that Audi RS8!!
Even with these problems still got a stupid grin on my face...

Was worth it??

Hell yeah!!

Well checked the UJ's top and bottom they where both tight and the 13mm and 17mm which hold the rack to the chassis, tight also... Looks like there may be play in the rack :( unless its' in the hardy spicer joints??

Any thoughts?

I'd double check you steering column UJs, the tightening bolts on them are a classic problem on the VX and not easy to check when you are upside down in the footwell.

Nev thanks I checked the clamp bolts on the UJ's they seemed tight could not feel any play. Also could not feel any play in the hardy Spicer joint itself. I'm thinking the worst and it may be a new rack....
