Probably. But, no idea where from. For the sake of £30 that Lotus want for a complete replacement cable, I'd go that route (and I did during my refresh).

I would imagine a V brake noodle for a MTB would do the job. Something like this -

N/S first due to lack of space in the garage - Was pretty easy to be honest once I had a few pointers from Cliffie and his ball joint splitter.

I did need to get some heat on the hub carrier bolts as they were super tight.. (Friend Dad has an engineering Workshop just down the road - very handy)

Have you tried using deox-c solution or gel? I have for the last few years and its like voodoo magic. However you do have to coat it pretty quick out of the solution as stuff flash rusts fast.

When I get round to doing mine it'll have to be front/rear seperate as no space to wok on it all on the flat area of my drive. Some great work, looking forward to seeing the n/s put back together and all shiny :)

I'll be removing clams as well to make it as easy to work on as I possibly can. Feel slightly worried about leaving it on my driver showing it's bits with just a cover on it. Well have to see if I actually get to do the refresh this year. I want to but not confident I'll get it done in time for spring and thatd be with a decent place to work on it...
