It's not just the lower tensile strength they weaken in certain environments salt is bad for this.
I just don't know why you would fit something that starts off about 15% weaker and then decreases in strength much quicker than the original bolts? They may well be fine but rather you than me!

The wheel released itself with ease with the correct tools (I remembered not to take the nut completly off as so not to get a face full of wheel and also marked the position so know what spline to line up with on re-fit.)
Here are a few pics of the progress:
Boss removed (Note the preload spring that catapults the wheel if not secured!)
Replacement slider fitted
Wheel and boss back on
Then a quick fumble with the laptop and OPCOM and Hurrah!! No Airbag light! Yes I know the ABS light is on but that's by design.
