Another job complete:

Fitted some wing supports to stop the insane amount of movement of the Exige GT Rear Wing. I had to make ups some L brackets to secure to the wing itself out of some old steel and the use of the neighbours workshop (He's like 'Norm' from Tim the Toolman Taylor) but he has 2 of everything you could possible need which is proper handy!

Here's the pics complete I didn't take any 'in progress' pics:

Not much done on the VX lately. Although I have fitted an Apexi Cone Filter. Not happy with my installation as is a bit 'agricultural. I've secured to the origional lower airbox mounting with a metal bracing strip it's a 'that'll do to test it' solution.

So I was wondering what others have done to fit to standard N/A engine?

Filter is fitted direct to the OEM pipe just after the airbox it's not a great fit and also too close to the engine so not getting a decent cold air flow plus getting heat soak from the engine.

So if any of you cleaver chaps out there come up with a solution to this I'd be interested in seeing what you've done!

Have you seen JG's filter mounting system? It'll be somewhere in his build thread. I would bin the OEM pipe and replace it with a 90 degree elbow, you can then dremel out holes in an aluminium section for the breather hose ect.

I did look at JG's soluton not sure if this will work with N/A as he lists for s/c

there is a support bolted onto the coolant tank mounting bracket, I used the same bolt which holds the coolant tank bracket on.
