OK about time for a update on the engine build it's had the Vocky Built treatment - converted the cam cover to keep the factory look plus will mean I don't have to modify the coil pack to fit.

Posted Image

Also more Vocky Built mods - Oil return bungs made and installed along with the oil plug (for the original turbo oil supply) and coolant plug on the head (for an extra temperature sensor). You can see next to the coolant stub

Posted Image

Also build up photos for 2.2 crank going in with Eagle Rods but standard pistons as not supercharging for now due to cost.

Posted Image

Vocky patent balancer delete done.

Posted Image

Also have some Piper Cams fitted - The is engine almost ready for installation just a couple of Vocky Tweeks to finish off and the purchase of Flywheel Clutch and new slave.

At this point I would like to say a massive thanks to Vocky for his skills and knowledge while going through this build oh and of course for the build itself.

This is the Cam Cover I tried to remove the paint using Nitromore but as you can see it didn't touch it!!! I decided it was far less effort to get it shot blasted and coated.

Come OK but may get a better one once I've installed engine.

So had to move the VX from it's current location due to rental reasons and a leaky roof.

Had a result though now paying less for a better Man Cave which is bigger and dryer.

Here are a few pics of the VX's new home

Soon as I get the enigine mounts done alternator and sort out coolant leak.. Oh and a bit of decent weather. Hopefully make a start on jobs this weekend. It's kind of double work as will need to take the clam off soon to so engine swap but not got all the parts and the funds to do that yet.. So hopefully my current engine will be good enough till then.
