On the basis that everything else on the engine is tried and tested on your old engine (injectors, coil pack, so on), I'd check the spark plugs.

hang on, so what have you got and hows it all fitted? So new Saab motor with a Z22SE Cam cover and Saab coil pack? What ECU are you running with it? Are the Piper Cams suited to forced induction?Yeah they are but came new with engine.I assume the plugs are different in the B207? I'd check them.

I find it's quite the opposite, usually a bad electrical connection on the injectors

Disconnect each inj. one by one to see which cylinder misfires. (Or if you have an OPcom device, you can check that with the fault diagnosis)
Basically you just have a Stock Z22SE with Piper cams and probably some head work, only build up from a new saab engine block. Right?

It's fixed! Thanks Lee and Vocky for the tips. It ended up being the Coilpack springs that needed a stretch! No to sort out a couple of minor leaks and pit some miles on it.
sweet, time for some pics

Hope this isn't going to affect croftGot 100 miles on the vx220 today engine is all good..... However the gearbox isn't! Got a nasty bearing noise on aacceleration and shifting down box, dip clutch it's foes away. So is looking like it's engine out again! And either replacement gearbox or get mine rebuilt. Either way I'm fed up!
