Of course though if anyone is interested in any paint work or maybe just some info about GRP specific issues/repairs just let me know and i'll pass it on to get an answer for you no probs.

A quote to respray (flat black) a front clam (removed, delivered) would be welcome. No repair needed. PM me.thumbsup

PS great work - love that orange colour, plus another crappy silver gone. Bonus.

Looks lovely mate well done.

As for your comment Steve - I am disgusted and ashamed at you being so two faced after those nice comments you had about my silver surfer at the weekend .....sickening.

Really happy with the finish and colour - well worth all the hard work and late nights! Next step is to finish off a few small details, get the suspension set-up and get a few miles in before winter hopefully thumbsup

- GRP is bloody hard work to prep

You do look like your making harder work for your self...... You have used proper fibre glass to repair the door, which is not needed from what I could see from the pics, tiny surface repair???? why not use a pre-mixed fibre glass filler? Its finer too, so saves a lot of filling and sanding, nevermind the actual fibre glassing its self..... for small repairs you can just mix, I think 30% fibre glass resin with car body filler and just use that.

Oh, good choice on the brake disks, they are really good! Lots of people here will tell you you should have just bought cheap crappy ones because they are just as good.... I beg to differ....

Car looks good tho! thumbsup

Love the colour. thumbsup You've also confirmed my thoughts on wrapping the door mirrors black. thumbsup ETA: Some smoked side repeaters are definitely needed.

Hi,

Thanks for all the comments thumbsup

As always when you start planning something like this you're never 100% sure how its going to turn out!

You do look like your making harder work for your self...... You have used proper fibre glass to repair the door, which is not needed from what I could see from the pics, tiny surface repair???? why not use a pre-mixed fibre glass filler? Its finer too, so saves a lot of filling and sanding, nevermind the actual fibre glassing its self..... for small repairs you can just mix, I think 30% fibre glass resin with car body filler and just use that

Can't claim any responsibility for the repair methods used - my brother is the pro so I wasn't going to argue :D

ETA: Some smoked side repeaters are definitely needed.

Couldn't agree more - now added to the list

Hi all,

So its time to finish off what I started and stick to my original plan. I've been sourcing the various parts for a stage 2 charger install...

Posted Image

Just waiting on the s/c arriving from the states and trying to decide on which exhaust to buy before starting.

Think ive pretty much read every post ever written on how to do the install but sure i'll have a few questions along the way for those that have done this before thumbsup

Will attempt to keep this thread updated with pics as I go.
