Well... the advert has certainly made an entertaining read for this lunchtime. Good price as well for what you get there.

You were right to say obsessive about claying and re-waxing after every wash - that is actually a mental condition you have there. I particularly liked this line; "Anyhow, I’m not buying a house, expecting a baby, moving abroad, need the money desperately..."

I can confirm not only a VERY nice example of vx, but the also the type of owner I would want to buy a car from, really genuine nice guy!!! Now I remember that uprated intake kit and swirl pot / 044 pump setup and charge cooler changes - wonder who designed all of that Sad to see your selling but it deffinetly needs to be used I can 100% confirm all the work done on the TMS charge cooler no longer has the issues it has (even the slight revised vesion) there is no longer the restictions and all the ocd bits really get the best from the cooling system All the best DG

Yep, I can confirm the car is now ***SOLD*** guys And it is going to a very very good home. Couldn't have asked for a better owner. Top man! I know it'll be in good hands - hands which know the meaning of Autosol, Autoglym, Maguiars........ oh and the need for speed

Hi Duncan - I'm back from my short break away. Many thanks to my secretary [g/f] for covering the post Thanks for your kind words and your help on the fuel upgrade and contact for charge cooler modification. Very glad I got rid of that 'S' bend which was smaller than standard diameter pipe work in CC air intake! The kinda of thing you'd design if stuck on a desert island with no tools and only bits of small diameter straight pipe work... A simple section of silicone pipe did the job in the end Hi Grant sorry, didn't know you would have considered my VX... mind you, I don't know if I could have handled seeing it in my own area We're not gonna replace the VX at the moment. Other interests / hobbies are taking over at the moment To say we're sad to see the VX go is an understatement, but the g/f assures me the new owner is a very decent chap and will care for the VX 100% VX ready for collection Cheers All...

It is an absolutely stunning car and a credit to how you both have looked after it and maintained it, It is without a doubt the best example of a vx I've ever seen and I knew if I did'nt get to see it before the weekend it would have been snapped up and gone so many thanks to Nat for chauffeuring me down and sold within 24 hours it was!

Thank god you bought it. I may of actually gone to look at it when i got back and broken all my plans of getting a different car. Thankfully the plans are saved and i can go back to clicking refresh on the pistonheads classified
