Coolio, am getting proper excited for you Simon. Have you decided what your 'brief' will be when you tell Chris how you want it mapped (re: max boost/power)?

Obviously will be guided by Chris and leave him to do what he thinks is best thumbsup

But my personal thoughts are to map it with a max rpm of 7000, and map to 2 bar of boost or 425bhp, so if it hits 425 @ 1.8 bar stop there, but if at 2 bar it's dyno'ing at 370bhp then that's the max I want to push it.

Really really don't know what it's going to make tbh? But sure it's not going to be slow!!!!!

Yea, Im intrigued to see where the power starts to tail off as your engine is fairly different to mine (mainly the head job + turbo size) and I'm keen to know how this affects things. Interesting times...

I'm actually looking forward to and checking every day for an update to this. Your car is a stunner and it's great that you lavish it with all of the attention it gets. Look forward to catching up at the next meet, whenever that is!

Coco (and others), it's not very cool to be regularily sarcastic and negative about other peoples R&D as it does take time to match all the componentry and actually fabricate them. You need to bear in mind he is not just buying a kit off the shelf like most people do, he is managing the actual design, building, fabrication and installation of them from scratch - hence things take a lot longer than ordering them from a shop and fitting them with instructions. After all, if people like Simon and Duncan didn't push the boundaries we would all still be driving OEM factory cars.
