Hell yeah I loved the beta!
Not sure whether to get it on Xbox or see if it runs on my PC, as there are only 24 players on console multiplayer vs 64 on PC!

Switching to a bigger screen and some time at the beginning of next year to the new Socket 2011 processor architecture. But will be getting this most definately. Xbox is 'ok' but PC is much more challenging, because everyone is ten times more skilled. Larger battles are fun too.

I'm planning to get it on PC but don't know what it will perform like on my computer, so I need to d/l a demo or torrent first to try it out before I commit. Can't be doing with consoles' 24 player cap knowing I could be having 64 players on PC.Anyone got it on the PC?

Looking at picking this up on PC this weekend.
Played it on PS3 last night and it instantly reignited my love for BF (after the okish bad company) Memories of BF2 and BF2142 till 4am flooding back to me

Ah good old 1942, man I miss those days! Thats going all the way back to when Ipswich had a LAN centre...
Anyway think I may just buy it this weekend. Please say you dont 'have' to have it on steam? I've had my account compromised so many times now and forgotten my password 10+ times and it's such a PITA to get it all back.

Noo the complete opposite, it's NOT available on steam. They decided to do it via their own system this time, 'Origin', which is a pile of turd if you ever have the pleasure of using it, but... nevertheless it's how it is.
