goal is to lose a misfire thats plagued it for a while,we had ruled out the head gasket because its had the waterless coolant in it that changes colour when any exhaust gasses get to it,what a load of shite that is!!!!! its red and stayed red when we ran a hose from the exhaust thru a bottle of it!! liars!!

hopefully if thats cured then we can progress and get it where we want it regards mapping,its all a rush but hey ho,its all for fun,problem for me is i need time at the wheel and there just isnt much time left

It'll react with NOx which is only in exhaust gasses with high EGR, not useful for anything built to race.

Test day cancelled first because we thought the weather was bad and as it turned out it would of probably been ok. Car probably wouldnt of been though so we went about a few jobs.

Out with the old loom. We were getting funny lambda readings and as our problem seems to be intermittent we got rid. Big thanks to FLD for leaving the loom out for us under his car so i could collect it at silly o clock. Paid for it yet fatty?





Takata harness doesnt fit a vx. Couldnt make it tight enough so with Darron being a tight arse he stole my passenger one





Stickers next. All seems a bit real when its all dressed up. Lets just say i hope Darron takes more care when he "fingerblasts his missus" than he does when fitting stickers.

Well thats it ran out of time. Done an oil change and fitted undertrays and diffuser back on. Still not wired the cut off switch up yet, anyone confirm we defo need it for club class? Got everything crossed that the car is healthy at cadwell but it is what it is now. Got loads to do before croft but we haven't been able to concentrate on anything apart from getting the fecking thing running right. Driving up sunday and looking forward to monday and finding out how we compare to our competitors.

Its ust one of those jobs that kept getting put back. Theres loads of them but at least we know theres time to be saved in the car and time to be saved when Darron gets some decent time and confidence up in the car. Cadwell is us just testing the water which is a bit sh*t and not what we wanted but hey ho. Club rwd competitors watch your backs because were coming for you!!!

I didn't take a photo of the other side of the car with all your pissed up stickers. Mine only went wrong when i had to move them as they are designed for a full size car and not a VX.
