Not sure why there's so much apathy towards fixing it...

Feel free to come sort it out!

I've been there (worse too).

I'd love to help but geography is against us on that one. Can you use a different car...? ie, yours :lol:/>

Always someone worst off.

Cant swap cars this year otherwise i would be up for it. Also my car is HPI clear and worth too much to risk racing otherwise id be doing it myself.

Your cars not done much for the past couple of years. Chuck it in the pot if you feel so strongly about it . . .

Calm down George believe it or not we want you to do well and the car all this turbo and charger thing is all bollocks

I already mentioned it to Dazza as it happens George. I'm going to bow out of this convo now as you seem to be getting arsey.

Cheers Lee, means alot! I know im just very oversensitive. Its nothing to do with turbo vs SC. Wish i hadnt kept updating this thread but i guess i care more than i let myself believe.

Miss fire... If you have changed wiring, sensors, coilpack, spark plugs

Did you change the head aswell?

Just chuck another complete engine in it.

Not changed the head and this is where i suspect the problem lies. Found a better product than k seal called steel seal, this will be going in if other things don't sort it.

Darron refuses to chuck another engine in it. I have offered my engine!

If darren is going to keep the car past time attack and use it on trackdays you dont want to be running it with kseal or such. How much would it be to replace the engine?

I can't really offer much help here George apart from to say that I hope you guys manage to stick with it - though I realise it must be getting to you guys now, and yes somethings in life are more important than these plastic cars.

However, I can't help but feeling that Joe's suggestion above would be the most prudent (and relatively cost effective) solution at this stage.

Easy for me to say, but chin up. The forum is behind you (even the SC dark side :ninja: ) in spirit - if not wielding spanners over your shoulder.

Injectors and ecu shouldn't be hard to swap first. Just do one at a time incase one fixes it. A good test though so you can be sure if it has or hasn't! Didn't sherlock or someone say something about once you've eliminated all the things it isn't?

Something like if you disprove all the probable, what ever remains however inprobable must be the truth.

They have done most things! Bring everything to a track day or private road and test out the remainder leaving the most expensive ( head change) til last.

How much is would it cost to get the testing time you need to rule out the issues? I am sure that others on here (like we did last year for Cliffie) would be willing to chip in a fiver or tenner to assist. 1. Mangham54 £10

Cheers for the offer but NO. We could afford to do it if we wanted to enough. Weve decided what were doing so next update will be after Croft.
