Ronnie's dropped out of Croft this weekend.  Great opportunity to make some points up as this will be his dropper and Umar beat him at Cadwell.

Prefer beat him on track. Why cant he make it? Croft is more about the corners than big long straights so i fancied our chances. Weathers looking suspect though.

Ronnie couldn't get hold of a new block and machine it in time He cracked a cylinder in the last round

Obviously good to beat him on track but the point was that he'll be forced to drop this round now.  Meaning his 2'nd place at cadwell MUST be used which wasn't a strong round really. 

 

I feel for Ronnie, but he'll be fighting hard till the bitter end and will take some beating!!  You have to take your breaks as and when they come without macho bullshit, you guys are due some luck!!

Killed a damper at Oulton and cant get another. Thats a 1990 RX7 for you.

Its got about 4-5mm play at the wheel, and shudders the whole car violently under braking. ^^

Lol. Theres no macho bullshit in our camp! I was getting at the fact that i was more confident going into croft than i am going to places like snetterton and brands that Darron hasn't driven before. Last year there was a trackday before every TA event which was good to setup the car and learn the circuit. Darron doesn't have that luxury this year so we have to make the most of the tracks he does know. We are currently on a high after our trackday at croft and feel properly prepared if its dry tomorrow. Its not macho bullshit and we will be happy if we can make the podium at any round. 

 

Its a shame Ronnie isn't going to make it to croft as we would like to see how we compare to him in pace. We both had problems at cadwell but he looked mega quick down the straights compared to last year. Umar was at the trackday at croft last sunday but only as a passenger. No one wants to make the podium and feel like you have only made it because of others not being able to make it.

 

Sorry for the slight but we don't want to come across as over confident, cocky or arrogant as we certainly aren't!

Fair enough, I get where you're coming from its nice to win and know opponent was @ 100%. It's a psychological advantage then too!! Umar will still take some beating and there's always cars in other classes to harass
