It defo makes my car a little slower in a straight line, but it is also a little more planted at the rear in the higher speed corners

This is what I was getting at, I've never said its close to being as efficient as a proper motorsport wing but fact is if it deflects down at speed (which it absolutely does) it must be doing something, despite what some think. Good to get some confirmation thumbsup

They're certainly sticky enough. I'm running on A048s. I'm not a fan of the power delivery of turbo cars. Makes it difficult to get on the power early enough. I'm running 165bhp from an N/A 1.8 K series and the car weighed 840kg with me and fuel at the end of qually. I weigh nearly 120kg though so the car's pretty light. :D Dan

Hi Dan, did you used to run a pink Porsche?
Lol! I've never had a pink car. :D Dan

On the way back from snetterton with a fcuked engine. It's ok though because the car looks really clean after Darron the fanny had it valeted. Looks like we could be busy saturday if we're going to make snetterton on Sunday.

FFS, it's never easy but that makes it taste better in the long run.  Get it done lads :)  You got another engine sorted?

Oh poop, sorry to hear this, especially as you were the only VX220 turbo. What are your plans for a new engine? Any ideas what caused the problem?

Found a new engine off ebay. Hopefully Darron is picking it up tomorrow night. Im in work thurs and fri so its going to be cutting it tight to do the bits after work and on saturday.

Bad luck guys. :-( The mazda is in having a new gearbox currently!

We saw Neil in Middlewich towing his car on tuesday. We were on the way to snet and gave him a beep but he seemed to be in a world of his own.

Dunno what caused it. Banging in another stock Zlet. This is the best thing about not having a forged engine.

He saw you - he was en route to WGT. I guessed Darron was picking you up for Snett.

Thats a tough job in the time. :-(

At least the engines are available 'off the shelf'.

Indeed, stock Z20LET engines must be dirt cheap - almost disposable! Best of luck.

^ About 500 notes for a bare engine. Not too terrible in racing terms.

Jesus Darron. Can't believe the sh!t luck you've had since embarking on the whole Time Attack campaign and dread to think about the costs. :(

Good luck getting it all up and running and hope to see you on Sunday. thumbsup thumbsup
