Good effort George, can't believe your ready for the out already! Bet all of the water injection kit in the boot slowed your progress down a bit. If I was closer to you I would be there to help.

Cheers bud. Yeah the water meth, the catch tanks and the swirl pot were all a pita, fuel lines all travel through holes cut in the clam. Liams done too good a job and put loads of rivnuts in the sub frame for it all. Would of had the engine out tonight if the clam came off easier.

I do believe the Mazda has had worse luck. New ecu, engine rebuild, new shocks and 2 gearboxes needed due to failure across three years of attempting to enter club and over 15k of costs. So far only 2 events. Then we were told it wouldnt be ready for sunday... Thankfully loys of yelling has resolved this. See you in the camping area??

Waiting for Darron to get his arse in gear and give me a hand lowering the engine back in. Its built up and ready to be dropped in. As ive taken things off its become clear that we need to order some new bits and bobs for the car that aren't right but hopefully wont be show stoppers for tomorrow.

Next update will either be she's a runner and were on our way or ffs im off to the pub to get smashed and will be spending tomorrow at oulton watching the touring cars.

Jesus that engine with gearbox attached looks fcuking huge. No way is that going to fit back in that little hole.
