It looks like it restricts access to the where the belt sits on the pulley. What if you need to fit a new belt and make sure it stays on the correct side. I've had a few belts snap and would be interested but need to still be able to easily fit a belt in a hurry. Martin s

Martin, The guard is mounted "engine side" so you can still slide the belt into place in the traditional way. There is clearance (of course) around the SC pulley and would easily accept the belt being slid into place.

As Lee says, you can fit a belt on with the guard in place or you can remove the guard with two bolts. The production guards have a hole in the top so that you can see the belt and the way it is sat on the pulley.

Just ordered one. It looks easy to fit, is it? I'll need one with indpection holes please as my belts need regular checks. Martin

Just an update to these. The main guards are finished. I'm in the process of making brackets and procuring warning signage Then i have to write instructions. Then they will be on their way to you all. (and i'm never ever making anymore, whose silly idea was this :P) They will go out after Christmas.
