Crikey, I doesn't look quite as shinny as this anymore.

I've done 68k in it and have to shortly decide on its replacement.

Pretty sure its going to be this:

What else is there though?

Needs to have a list price of no more than 30k, C02 less than 109, BPH approx 190.

BMW's CO2 number bodging has fallen short of VAG's in the last couple of years. BMW used to be the best at it. Now though VAG have managed to get an A6 with 195hp diesel (which goes very well with s-tronic) under 110 CO2

I refuse to pay any more than £180 a month in BIK tax (as thats what i would pay in income tax if i took the cash) which limits me to the above criteria.

I drove the new GTD last week end and its moved the diesel shed game on a long way from mine. It also sounds great, without the sound actor.

The GTE is also possible, that would save £4k in tax over the course of the time i'll have the car. But i'm really not convinced how economical it would be on my mostly motorway commute.

It's too much in my opinion, I'd like less bling with engine. It's a lovely looking car standard, would make a great Qcar!

You can get them with 18s, this one could almost be a CDI

Don't think C63 meets your "C02 less than 109" criteria though

You're right the GTD is good mate. C63 mega as well. Hold off a month or two on that one until the new car hits the market though, may soften used values. Or increase them if the new one is a shitter
