Don't think C63 meets your "C02 less than 109" criteria though

I'm changing both cars at a very similar time, so its both rather than one or the other. :)

Going to have a look at this later as the other shed, it is a bit less of a shed though :D

Well JG?

Wrong colour and couldn't live with the wheels. Otherwise, just perfect.

500 the choice of champions.

The choice of champions as long as there's no hill climbs.

I hired one in Italy last October and I thought the clutch was fcuked as it wouldn't go up hills.

The 500, VX, Merc or Golf?

Thats probably a fair point.

The Merc, the Golf and the VX all allow you to be very lazy. Be that in overtaking (move out, think about it, think about it a bit more, bam, done) or going up hills without changing down (well the Merc does its own thing) of pulling away with no throttle (even in 2nd). In the Golf i frequently use 1-2-4-6. etc etc

The little fiat is all far more effort. Its an ok little car (in so much as a 12k mile heavily clutch ridden car can be), got me to work this morning (albeit using twice as much fuel) in roughly the same time as normal.

they do have a very wrong 2nd gear, although I dont notice it in the chabarth as it had some torque to mask the poor gear choice.

The outlaws hated their 500 because it "wasnt very fast and was hard work".... erm it was never going to be fast, and you need to think a little when driving it, something many folks dont want to do anymore :(

However..........

"Update: Fiat has responded to claims that its 500 city car isn’t powerful enough for hills.

In a statement, the manufacturer said: “Following the BBC Watchdog segments featuring the FIAT 500 1.2, which aired on November 6 and November 13 2014, we received a number of calls from customers related to the performance of their engine when executing hill starts.

“The majority of calls we received were from owners of Euro 6 FIAT 500 1.2 vehicles built without optional ESC (Electronic Stability Control), which have different engine software to vehicles equipped with ESC. ESC is now standard on all models across the FIAT range.”

Fiat goes on to say that it’s working on a software update to “improve the driveability” of its cars – and this will be applied to these customers’ cars during their next scheduled service at a Fiat dealer".

In short........it's a sh*t car.

At least the windscreen isn't only microns thick. You can roll a Zaffy and not damage the windscreen (Zaffy VXR)

Still look shite. But then if you can get the car at a decent rate, buy the wheels and tyres you want and advertise these on ebay / gumtree. Some goon in a corsa / passat will snap them up.

I'm not so sure about the wheels but overall it's a lovely looking car, I'm a big fan of that colour and think it really suits the car. Looks awesome!

I need to order a new shed

The list is 3500 long so i'll spare you that.

Current top three:

Audi A6 ultra (190) - 109 Co2

Jaguar XE R-Sport (180) - 109 Co2

Volvo V60 R-Design (181) - 109 Co2

What else is out there with low Co2?

A6 over the V60 James. Smooth smooth engine and lovely cabin. Literally boarding a plane to go drive the XE today - will let you know about that one in 48 hours. Will also have a think about other low co2 cars
