Cleaned the door hinges as they were looking a little honking

Just need to put a little grease back on them tomorrow. Motorcycle chain lube works well

Then was touching up a scratch that's been on it since I got it. Not going to hide it fully as that will involve taking off more paint than I want.

I then left it a couple of hours before putting lacquer on but it started raining before I got chance. So will leave that till tomorrow then do the sanding on Friday night when I'm back from work.

2 things pissed me of today, this shite British weather and not being in my house yet so I can get in my garage. Apparently waiting on proof of building regs from the council regarding the extension. Their solicitors requested them months ago!!!!!

Finally got round to getting some more leather cleaner. Megs cleaner and conditioner. Been out and used it everywhere but not actually sure if its worked as its dark. We shall see tomorrow. Also bought a micro fibre drying towel as I'm not convinced my autoglym blade then an old leather are the best things for the paint. May actually buy a second bucket for washing at the rate :/

Drying towels are great! Bin the blade or relegate it to glass work only :)

Wow, just sat here and read this whole post, not sure if I'm looking forward to owning a Noble GTO3R or not now! You've actually frightened the crap out of me!, :) I'm picking it up next week (Tuesday) I don't suppose by some miracle your anywhere down south and fancy coming with me?!?!? It seems like you've come across and fixed about every problem a Noble could ever have! God help me........ The guy has warned me though the only thing that's dodgy about it is a front shock absorber but I think I can do that pretty simple. I have mixed feelings now... Great write up though, your obviously a very patient man. I'll keep tracking this thread.

Cocopops, yeah I very much act on the moment! I only had a short time to buy it or I would of lost it to another buyer so I've taken a chance, much like I have on the majority of cars I've bought in teh past, I know a bit about cars so I've always been very lucky or just done enough research to get away with it, let's see how this turns out, I've got it at a very good price so if I get it and have to garage it until I spend £3k on it then thats fair enough to be honest. It justs needs to make it back from Exeter and I'll be happy!

Just got back from a two hour ride in my new Noble!! Everything was going great for my first drive until I was about twenty miles from my house and I kept hearing a whirring noise that sounded like a pump, then when I parked up in my drive it's dumped a bit of fuel on the floor. Any ideas what this could be and have you had this problem before? I was driving it quite hard for about 2.5 hrs. I'm thinking fuel pump leak? It was from passenger side just behind door frame.

Yeah the fuel pumps in there. Open up the rear clam and remove the panel in front of the passenger rear wheel. The pump, filter and breather is in that little cubby hole
