Cheers bud, I'll investigate tomorrow! I hope it's not the fuel pump gone. Apart from that I'm massively impressed, what fantastic cars!!

Because of the age the braided pipes are starting to go between it all so it may be that

I'm not having much luck with this Noble of mine!! I've not got a cracked Radiator that's pissing out coolant! Arrgghh!!! Need to find a new one cause I think it's gone beyond a repair! Pressure tested it this afternoon & it emptied itself out on the floor!! Fixed the fuel problem though, new pump was all it needed. Now got front shock to fit, new radiator (when I find one) dump valve then all good!! Apart from that I'm loving it, what a machine!!

Wearing thin but to be fair the cheapest GTO12-3R I could find in the country was £26k & I paid £22k including the number plate GTO 3R GO !! So I was expecting to spend another £2k getting it spot on & so far I'm up to £1,400 inc rad fitted and other bits so not too painful... Lucky I have a willing and very able mate who runs a adage otherwise god help me!! Just found a brand new Rad for £415! Better than the £1,000 someone else quoted me! Gotta love west coast Lotus!!

Brand new rad went for £100 on eBay a few weeks back. Wish I'd bought it seeing that price!

You think you'll have the noble with you by then? Hopefully PA has one on the shelf!

If the Rad isn't with me by then I won't fit it so I can keep the noble fr the meet, the noble is still well drive able, I just got back from work in it, Ive just been keeping an eye on the coolant level & topping it up. Hopefully Pro Alloy will have one on the shelf & I'll get it fitted before Thursday. If not the pub we're meeting in is only 4 miles from my house! It will be fine!

So what are the major costs - parts or labour? I've been looking recently.. I'd say the majority of things, short of rebuilding the engine or Gearbox or re-wiring most of the thing I could DIY, as it seems a relatively simple car underneath (like the VX), just that the turbo gubbins adds a bit more complexity, and no doubt there are some very time consuming jobs. Access looks much easier actually given the hinging clam arrangement.. It's a car I'd dearly love to own, but then I'm back to the same dilemma I had originally when looking at an S2 Exige - £20k is a lot for me as a second car, hence why I bought a VX220. And no lovely garage (as yet) to wrap it up in. (This is the point where you post up pics of the Noble in snowy conditions just to prove me wrong) :D
