Saw one of these on the M5 this morning, reminded me how great they look. Has the novelty worn off yet or still there?

We need pictures! Just dropped mine off at jetstream, about 10 nobles, a 355, an xj220 and various other nice cars there. He fixed the hesitation instantly by resetting the adaptive maps. May be a month before I get it back though :( hoping for 380bhp.

Saw a Noble driving through Saffron Walden today. Quite a bit of blue stuff coming out of the exhaust at idle...

Sorry for the late reply

heres a few pics!. it really is a beauty!. it has 420 bhp from a remappeed motor with a Noblesport manifold and exhaust system and larger intercooler. The handling is incredible. its not perfect, the gearshift is going to get upgraded because its pretty average after my old Vx gear change. Also the offset pedals make my right leg ache after a few hours driving. However i can put up with that for the excitement i get when i put my foot down!

Good to hear from you james, yep still got the Gt40, and still upgrading it! feel free to pop over if you fancy  a ride in my new toy!

My two big issues with my Noble 3R I had was the huge clutch travel and the flappy gear change, I went from a VXT and both were better however the Noble was an amazing car so I sort of put up with the issues for a bit until I sold it!

Zoobeef, hello mate how are you? I haven't been on here for months!!

I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don't know but why don't you spend £50 from Halfords and buy a trickle charge unit? as soon as my car enters my garage the bonnet is up and I connect my battery up, I've never had an issue since, it keeps the battery nice and full without overcharge.

Nothing more annoying than when your all geared up to go out and you turn the key and nothing happens!!!

Looks good! It may already have it done but the other thing you can do is change the valve springs so you can up the rev limit. Does it have all the sought after things like 6 speed, LSD, track day sump? Im used to my gear change and find it no problem although it could be smoother.

I'm not to bad, the cars with jetstream at the minute for a remap but its not being nodded other than that as I have another vx220 now so my moneys going into modding that. You been enjoying the sun? You not fancy changing again yet? ;) That's been on my to-get list for a while but its just never happened. Next time I see some cteks on offer though I'm going to get one!

Had a phone call from jetstream. Car is mapped and ready to be collected. Needed a new lambda sensor as the rear one wasn't working and he said its running a lot smoother now. Mapped and its now 380bhp. Just need to try and get a lift down to leicester this weekend to pick it up. Total cost of £950, really wish i could charge those prices haha. If anyone wants some jobs doing on their cars let me know as i could do with putting some money back in the bank!

This is going to sounds really bizarre but I don't miss that about the Noble, it was an everlasting hole for me to throw money at it, although I did go and spend allot on a car it's been faultless, so well put together and solid!

No plans to change EVER to be honest...

£930 for a re - map and sensor is crazy but it always was with the Noble, I melted turbo's, manifolds & god knows what else regularly!

The standard ones usually are about 330 but because of my lambda fault we guessed 300-310. So big difference

Do you think you'll keep it for the foreseable future Mark ?

This is a good thread BTW, gives a proper insight into owning one, so thanks.
