this happened to me .one had cracked right through.another had an airline crack.gave them to a firm called protek who made me all four with what looks like quality billet ally all for 450 pounds.also check your rear brake lines to the caliper...they are held on by nobles favourite attachment tool the good old tie wrap and are very close to rubbing on the tyre.its only when you take the noble apart that you realise how shocking they are put togetherHow much did the new manifolds cost you? (Just for parts) Did you get aftermarket ones?
Will keep an eye on mine as i know its reasonably common. Its the labour that pushes the prices really high when you get work done. Luckily it will all be done by me.
Have you seen the price of the aluminium uprights that the front hubs attach to? £1000 :/ A guy had one crack where the steering arm ball joint bolts through

I chose to get Noble replacements - 450 each. They're supposed to be better manufactured than the originals and the very good guys at Bespoke haven't had any problems with them. Some of the aftermarket ones are more than double that price and if you're not planning major engine/power mods and heavy track work I don't see the point. How much did the new manifolds cost you? Talking of brake lines, as above, check your front lines. One of mine was being worn close to the wheel, caused by steering movement which made it rub against the hub. Got it replaced before something nasty happened and made sure it was re-positioned. Had to be specially made by Goodridge, but not expensive.
The joys of hand-made cars. No two Nobs are alike.

Just replace the rear hub nuts with the porsche ones. Didnt even need to remove the wheels so really was a 5 min job.
Does anyone know where to get cheap ford parts. You know like autovaux for the vauxhall stuff
There are a few crappy ford sites with random tat on them, as for a decent supplier I am none the wiser - if you find one will you drop me a PM with the details as I know it will be useful in the coming weeks/months

It was raining yesteday and the speedo threw a funny. It was flicking up and down all over the place so took it home and did 3 miles in about 500 meters :/ cleaned the sensor and teeth off today and all is well. Noticed a ball joint gaitor had split while doing it though so ordered another for aboit £15. Apparently i have to get about 1mm shaved off it to be able to press it in though. Should be fun!

Changing the ball joint was a fun job. It took about an hour of dremeling to get the circlip out. Then the press i used burst a pipe trying to press the old one out so took it to an engeneering shop in the end and it took 30t of their 35t press to get it out. Got them to stick the new one in at the same time. So all went back together ok.
Took the wheels of to refurb them, left the car hovering for 2 weeks on the drive :/

Took them down to plymouth and took them for powder coating.
Choose a silver chrome i think it was called as i wanted them standard looking. Basically looks silver but has a deep shine to them.
The plastic wheel bolt things were crap. Half came out ok, the other half were glued in and had to chip them out. Should of just got the wheels dipped and melted them out.
So then bought 120 allen head bolts. Cut the threads off then tidied up the bottoms. I then stuck them in with locktite 5940 which is a black sealent that says it fills, seals and bonds. Hopefully will keep them in but shouldnt be to hard to remove in the future.

Got the wheels back on today. If i had gotten up this morning and done it i could of taken it for a drive. Instead i got snowed on and it looked like this
