Lol I've obv caused some confusion, after Nat showed me the thread I said to point out we still had them :) we would of course raise a classified ad if we wanted to sell, but it was only a passing comment that we have a set in the garage, in fact they are currently on the car with some T1Rs :) They should be available from Comp still, think they were about £700, I can dig out the offsets etc if anyone is interested :) they look great in the flesh - quite unique in styling, especially with the flared front spokes B) no doubt not to everyone's taste tho! :P

definately not available from compo.they are the old design...compo in there wisdom changed the design to make them near flush with the rim and basically ruined it.on the mlr forum we tried to get compo to remake the old style but got a defo no.i bought the last set of 18s for my evo.lovely rim

Hope Nat abides by the rules on pricing transparency for the Compo MO6 wheels she's interested in selling. ;) Rules is rules. :)

She said 'well actually we have a set in the garage if anyone is interested' as in if they are so hard to come by and some one see's this thread and wants some, we might have a set they could have, hardly posting a thread up in the classifieds... Be a real shame if on the forum some one can't ask about something and another member come back with a friendly 'might have one of those in the garage if you need it' In a classified advert you must have prices I totally agree, but not in this case :) But I'm sure she's perfectly capable of speaking for herself!

agreed.

JG As mentioned by other members of this web site other than you... "great thread/topic" Don't knock the creator of the subject matter,at last something that is a little bit more interesting than some of the usual rubbish posted... I am sure there are lots of other members of this forum that will benefit from this... And finally why should refurbing the standard wheels not be the best alloy tyre combination?

Because the Front wheel was always a compromise by Vauxhall to promote understeer whilst maintaining the "visual" appeal of 17/17 combo.

Which for Pistenbroke might be the best alloy tyre combination for him. Personal choice.

I prefer the rubber type of tyre myself, preferably the round ones as I find they give a better feel on the road
