Hi Duncan, Nice work. :) I assume you are going to benchmark against an entirely OE airbox? Is it worth adding some more tests like without trumpet 1, without both trumpets, without the trumpets and with big holes drilled in the side? There is always loads of speculation about the merits of trumpet removal and hole drilling and it would be very interesting to see some science. Cheers

:P May I add that I am trumpetless, have drilled big holes and very much enjoy the healthy induction noise! :)

This kit should come in good time as my oe pipe has started collapsing badly. Ive tried making my own little kit for now, which has been helping a lot:

Its all reinforced by 3'' aluminium tubing, but i still experience boost restriction due to the silicone elbow being quite slack /:
Its really frustrating having a powerless car!!

Can't wait thumbsup the silicone you've got, what's the thickness? It just seems like the stuff I've bought is real flimsy /:

Funny thing is that I'm actually in desperate need for a header tank, so fingers crossed you'll have some done soon :D

Few tanks done including a polished one, if nothing else mr simba will be impressed lol. Just sourcing a suitable level sensor, if you were not bothered about that could post one this week DG

Fancy PMing me a price for the tank? :D Does it matter about the sensor? My temp sensor doesnt seem to be working atm, not sure whether that causes problems and also causes the EML to come on /:

The level light is fine, as it does go off when i fill it back up, the ridiculous amount of times i have to! But i dont get a temp reading on the scannage display, i was just taking a guess that it may have been to do with the coolant sensor perhaps, thats just me not knowing where it takes the temp reading from lol

It's the sensor here:
