I don't think you will find any wings that are better than those designed by Simon McBeath. One of his profiles is made by Reverie and his various other profiles are made by DJ Engineering:- http://www.djracecar...d-aerofoils.asp
These two companies are licensed to make them and make them to the very highest standards. i.e, they supply Lotus Motorsport themselves, along with other very high profile manufacturers and race teams all over the world. I run the 'SM 183' profile with the 'SM 101' flap for example. All of the wings are wind tunnel tested and there is loads and loads of data on them on Simon McBeath's website:-
http://www.sm-design...ngshophome.html They aren't cheap, but they are the real thing unlike most of the wings you find for sale. Plus, when you buy one Simon is always happy to answer any aero questions relating to your specific car.
Hope that helps.

Thank you Jamie. Also very interesting that see actual number of how much downforce to expect from a wing even tho the prices are a bit more than expected. Also trying to find used wings but there seems to be very Little. Next thing, those popular air vent above the front Wheels, are they any good? I Believe they reduce pressure in the wheel arc but releaseing the pressur above and feed air above the car, making the car like airplane wing even more and maybe adding lift to the rear end?! Isn´t it then better releaseing the air from the front Wheels on the sides instead? Any ideas? BR, Per
No problem. DJ sometimes have '2nd's' wings with very slight imperfections which they sell slightly cheaper, so maybe worth a call/email. I have sorted a few out for people now (including one for Mike's Time Attack car) but as they are a quality product, they are still a fairly expensive item..............but worth every penny.
The wheel arch vents do work, but are not amazing at reducing wheel arch pressure. As you say, ideally you need to extract the high pressure from behind the wheels and let it slip down the side of the car as neatly as possible without becoming detached. Simon McBeath and I have drawn up something for my car and I'm doing this for my rebuild but it's lots of work to do properly.
