Okay,
Had this TV for little over a year, then suddenly stoped working. I have taken it to a specialist, who recommended it could be fixed but for around £200 - as such we decided not to bother.

Regardless, this thing was top of the range when released, and one of the first plasma's available. It's reputed to have cost around £10,000 when new :loco:

When it was working, it was great. Massive screen, clear picture and good sound.
The screen itself still works, from what I can work out it's a problem with part of the boards in the main control box. I'm not sure what else I could tell you to be honest.
Anyway, I'm selling the screen, remote, linking cable and main control box. All I want is £50 for the lot, so not much - and if you know what you're doing with electronics etc I'm sure you could fix this for a lot less than the £200 I was quoted (which was mainly for labour from what I can work out).

It's probably a bit hard to get a sense of size/scale but FYI that's a three seater sofa it is leant up against.

To help with scale again, this is it with an HTC phone led against it.

So not only is it massive, it is also incredibly heavy. There's no way this can be posted - it will need to be collected from my address in Houghton Regis, Dunstable between jct 11 and 12 of the M1. It will also require 2 people to move it (obviously I'd help get it in your car but you'll need a hand at the other end) - i'm not joking about this, it is properly heavy.

As said, £50 for the whole lot - I just need shot of it and if it doesn't go by the new year, it's heading for the tip.

Cheers,
G

I'm sure if you left it outside it would 'go missing'

Here's the Loewe website, it looks like they make some very high end stuff thumbsup

Just out of interest Graeme, how heavy is heavy? I still use an old 36" Panasonic CRT multisystem TV. It weights 79kg! No one believes me until they try lifting it. :tt: But here's the proof http://www.cinenow.c...sonic-tx-36pg50
