Excuse my ignorance but what is Duralec?


You use Duralec on the steel plates that go between the subframe and tub to stop the differing metals attacking each other, it also inhibits reactions between the bolts and ally of the tub and subframe.

I was thinking of something where we could conferance call so you, Joe, and me could talk in one conversation. I think we need to discuss next season whether we approach this as two teams/garages or one. Not sure we have the manpower for two....

I'm defo not driving in Time Attack but I'm working the pits and doing my best to make sure there is a VX on the top step next year too :D

I got quoted £80 to have it done about four years ago by a company called Get Flocked.

Think I even spoke to a company in South Wales as well. :unsure:

why dont you just buy the material yourself? its a fairly easy shape to wrap in alcantara etc
