Wasn't it collective wisdom that SC's prefered a 4-1 set up? Eg Nick's post here:

More to do with space I would imagine. I left the exhaust build to somebody who knows better than me.

That's indeed an "interesting" set-up of cyl 1+3 and 2+4...
I'm no expert in headers pairing, but most 4cyl headers are paired 1+4 & 2+3 to distribute the pulses evenly over the secondary pipes. Yours is like a "big-banger", but you also have big long primaries...
(The OEM cast mani, 1+2 and 3+4 is more about space saving but in the end has the same sequence pairing as yours.)

With the db levels down to 96bd with a 3 inch system, I would imagine it is doing it's job very well.
That's not the manifold and downpipe reducing sound that would be the backbox and tailpipes

The car is awesome, really strong and handling beautifully. You can go in so committed and know exactly what it will do and how it will react.
We used the new Kumhos in the damp and wet and I was really impressed with the grip levels.
The new exhaust is something to behold and the db levels are down to 96db and I am pretty sure there is no loss of power. The manifold is beautiful.
We have to beat Ronnie in the last four rounds to stand any chance of the championship.
What spring rates and roll bars are you using and also toe and camber is interesting.
Thank you in advance.

What I mean is we would know if we had exhaust pulses meeting due to manifold design and we would be making scooby type noises and would not be as low as 96db.
Also lengthening the system makes a difference in noise.

i think scooby noises come from the unequal length exhaust header
Correct, the unusual noise is due to the exhaust pulses meeting in the collector.
