Championship points after r5 qually
Amis = 140+150+150+140 = 580 , dropped r5 (only a max of 130 possible)
Cantelo = 140+130+130+50 = 450 , dropped r4 , r5 qually 1st = 50
if Mike aces the final, then it closes the gap to 30 , on 580 and 550
I really dont understand that What does the dropped bits mean?

Can anyone post the PDF, can't view on the ipap.
I could but I'm not sure I feel charitable enough towards an I device to bother.

You have to drop the points from one of your rounds. Obviously you'll drop the round that you scored fewest points in. Going on Mike's performance today, Ronnie is likely to drop today's round, unless he has a worse round at Snetterton.

you drop your worst round, so Deaton did Mike a big favour today in qually by getting second, it means Amis can today only score at most 130 points. It could be the title deciding event.
Funny how little things like that can change the course of the title!! Last year I would not have won the championship of I retired at Knockhill. By limping round on 3 cylinders and posting one 6min lap (which has to be record btw!) I was able to collect minimum points without which I would have come third overall!!!! In a tight season these things are the deciding factors!!!!
