Ha ha, I'm not the only sneaky mod! I just realised I'd forgotten to change the link in Mike's new sig from linking to my old thread to Mike's so went in to edit it and it was already done

Still chuffed to beans you took it Mike!! It looked so bleak at the start of the season!! Couldn't help have mixed emotions for Ronnie and crew as even though they were fierce competitors they are also good lads and really do deserve a bit more luck than Saturday but they came back fighting on the Sunday and it went to the wire!! Mike, time to reveal weapon 'X'....? :lol:

They are defo coming back next season too for their 4th campaign so we'll see what happens there. However, thing is there IS another confirmed VX going out next season.

Watching in the pit garage the team were so professional. When they weren't checking and work in on the car they were analysing lap data to establish where extra milliseconds could be gained. Fantastic to watch. On the final day it was far from cut and dry, with the weather throwing a spanner in the works. Epic driving from Cliffie after an oil spill on track (wait for the vid) kept Team VX in the hunt and although a 2nd place was all that was needed for the Championship, Cliffie managed to win the last event by those milliseconds from Ronnie. Congrats Mike and team.
