Blimey Chris, that was quick.

This one is not for the faint hearted.

I need to explain... it was wet, we were out on dry tyres and then somebody dumped oil all round the track as they did two laps with a split turbo feed pipe.

The VX is a handful at the best of times but on dry tyres on a wet track with a fresh oil spray on makes it nigh on impossible.

If you want to save the time, 3:30 is the place to start and yup, that is scary, pointing at the wall at 97 miles an hour.

Thought it was putting your tyres on the paint in the wet that was the issue. Still horrible though mate, so glad you kept your momentum heading forwards instead of spinning it! Nicely held. Personally I think your off at turn 1 was more scary given the outright speed of it!!!

Bonkers. No way I'd want to risk my pride and joy in those conditions  and no way a TC'ed car could put the power down that smoothly with lots of $ spent on it.

Not from the drivers seat as I had a load more run off before I got to the wall.

That was the qually session red flagged due to oil all round the circuit and we were red flagged for a while whilst the marshals chemically cleaned the track. Whether it was oil or the white paint, it was the scariest moment I have had in a car on track.

Imnotworthy how you kept that out of the barriers is testament to how much you deserved the win. Truly exceptional talent

Tha's some statement Mike!!! Wasn't Le Mans scarier!! You had momentum on your side here where in Le Mans the car was trying to straighten up and ping you into a wall at MEGA speed!!! Either way I firmly believe you have more lives than a cat!!

Fcuk me sideways. Fair play for keeping it to just a kiss of the armco. I'd have been straight back into the pits through the pit exit lane after that. Bad enough continuously spinning up in 3rd on the RevettBentley Straight. Imnotworthy
