i think you will go through mounts every year or 2 years if you dont have the poly bushes front and rear. if you have these fitted then i suspect you will go through them every 3ish to 4 years imo but then i dont drive everyday. although i do drive like a coooont

That may well be the difference. As it seems unlikely that I've subconsciously discovered any hidden mechanical sympathy. Amazing that I can kill an engine but not a mount, otherwise. Not like I can heel & toe either - just slam those downshifts in.

Techi you need torque to do them damage :P

Are yours the road or track spec ones? Want to sell them? After more than 1 set

I can't remember to be honest. I think I bottled out of track spec and they're road spec but would have to find them and check to see what, if anything, they say.

I decided to get one of these for permanent fix in the car A la Techie's. I thought this was a better idea than the V-box Lite as I wanted real time lap times in the cockpit. The V-Box does now come with predictive lap timing but it is standard in the P box.

Is that a new software revision re- the predictive lap timing...? I did not know about this!! That said I've been a Vbox whore for ages, I gotta go back and slum it with my Pbox now and learn how to use it again. Boys I'm well up for this!!

Predictive timing was an update about a year ago, from memory.

Yeah, all sector driven. Obviously the more sectors you set up for a given track the better. Stick it Predictive mode and it compares with previous/laps sectors and predicts your current sector/lap times. Or something like that.

It is good fun once you get into it Nev, I love the pressure for one and the competition is great. Just not into will waving (just as well with my power deficit).

Aww Mike you should have put a wanted ad up, I'm about 90% sure I'm selling my Performance box and it has all the latest updates. The latest version of the firmware does loads of extra stuff. Predictive lap timing is ace and I use it quite a bit. You can now also store multiple circuit overlays on an SD card with customised splits and just load them up when you get to track. I have about 15 overlays on my PB now thumbsup ETA - to expand Matt's explanation. When you load Track data into Circuit Tools it works out the best possible lap you are capable of by combining your best sectors. This now happens on the box and it compares those quickest sectors against your current ones. I found you had to make sure the splits are at the start of a decent straight to allow you to look at the screen to see your progress.

Download the update utility and the latest firmware from the racelogic forum then plug your PB into your laptop with a USB cable. Hold the mode button (I think) and plug the PB into the mains. The screen on the PB will show you it is ready. Start the update utility and point it at the firmware patch. Wait until it's done and then reboot the PB. Job done thumbsup

Simple as that eh....? ;) I've located the latest firmware revision but I can't find the update utility, don't suppose you could pop a link up could you fella...? I can see the USB drivers, is that what you mean...?
