So Simon..... :) What are these new toe links that would be needed to run the GT hubs...? How much be they? are there any available now to bolt onto VX's? If so could I be cheeky and ask for a link as I'm not sure which on the EP website will do the trick. Nice to have you in the fold mate

Post a link to the uprights! There are a number of options.

ARHHHHHHHH!!!! will you all calm down please? just for ref, please note that no everything EP do or I talk about is on the website, the very specialist stuff is not there (like the gearbox if you note). so please do not jump into buying stuff without being 100% sure you know what your looking at.

It's not and that's why the info on this thread has provoked such interest. As has been said previously, thanks for taking the time to post. It's difficult not to get enthused when people like you are happy to share knowledge. Granted the changes you are talking about aren't for the masses but there's no harm in looking and perhaps aiming for those things in the future with an idea of costs and benefits.

Its not sad that not everybody is interested in going faster, people are interested in their cars for different reasons. Some want to go faster and some want to change the look to what they think is better. There are a lot of people on the two carbon group buys at present, that isnt sad and neither are they

I was about to comment on the fact that someone who knows what they are talking about comes on and says something is good and then everyone wants it even though they have no idea what difference it will make or if they need it. jeeso

Scuffers, if I make something, can you come and say it's good and we'll split the profits! thumbsup

the risk here is that this thread is about Mikes car and the application of it to Time Attack, this may well involve stuff that's of little use/relevance to 99% of the VX users.

Chuff all we can do if you all keep posting in here. We can't move individual posts.

As Scuffers said, this is primarily about how Mike might be able to improve his car if he wanted to go down this route. Nothing to stop anyone else starting a new thread on the general subject, elsewhere. Though I'm sure there are other threads regarding the GT Uprights, it's not like they were only invented a week ago and Elise Parts only started selling them yesterday.

Yes, it's only the marketing campaign that recently started
