is it of any benefit to actually see if you can lower the whole engine by a few cm (lower the CG even more) would the drive shafts allow that.

IIRC the Colin Blower VX220 GT car had a redesigned sub-frame to lower the engine & hence CG.

That car was a fine example of why you should concentrate on the basics first!

The trick with the brakes is to get balance front and rear and it is not just a case of how many "pots" there are, it is more about the size of those pots.

I was talking to Geary a month or so ago and very nearly bought a set of the EP 4 pots but didn't know what pot sizes to go for so I've decided to wait and see how your full braking package performs before I start shelling out any cash thumbsup

I wonder what ever happened to that Colin Blower VX, is it just sitting at his works or did he sell it eventually or something.

Looks like Mike Saunders is entering in his TVR Cerbera as a OHW at brands and cadwell! His best lap at brands in the tvr challenge is 48 seconds. It's a shame he doesn't do full seasons in any competition, just seems to enter as OHW's, beat everyone and goes on his way, including the GT Cup. Shows how popular timeattack is getting now. I might buy an advertising slot on his car and write, "I wish this was a VX220"

It's a TVR, it's in pieces the rest of the year.

I am pretty sure I saw it at Silverstone at the end of last year. If I remember correctly they were having trouble with a new gearbox they were testing or something

Not good. :( The one time you wish the National was at Anglesey, we're at the other end of Wales.

Due to unforseen circumstances, that were totally out of our control, the scheduled date of Saturday 3rd August has now had to be changed to Saturday 20th July. The circuit will remain the International layout which is an awesome track to compete on
