plus a 16" can give you all the front tyre you would need for much less weight and rotating usm

I wish.....

problem with off the shelf tyres is that they are all too narrow/tall

if you look at 205/50R16 for example, they are actually only ~195 wide, and if you then look at 225 wide, they jump in hight by ~30mm

I don't know the details of your front suspension setup, but at the ride heights mentioned is a 15" wheel such a daft idea, Toyo 888r 235/50/15 Kumho v70 in 3 compounds choices in 225/50/15 there are wider in 16" , Kumho go upto a 265/45/16

Not sure a 304mm disc, EP four pot and GT hub will fit under a 15"

Brakes will fit, upright may be problematic though... That said, never tried.

We are going 16" on the front and we will be running Kumho V70A.

Rear clam placed on for fitting and to get it off the floor. It is beginning to look like a car now.
