That's just unnecessary torment! Don't need a sequential box but would love one for the hell of it.

Sequential box saved that Aussie race team 5 seconds a lap so when you look at it in that context its actually a pretty cost effective modification.

See.... That's EXACTLY the kind of comment that winds people up.

Why not just say "oh really, got a link that the source?" Rather than come across like a cocky shite that knows far more than jonny.

I'm sure jonny wouldn't say something unless he thought it correct, yes he might have read it wrong but give him chance ffs!

I'm seriously considering one of those for my Atom, Scuffers, any idea if it would fit ? On some locations on the Atom (especially near the left gearbox mount), the chassis tubes are only a few millimeters from the box

Ring Eliseparts and ask them dude. ETA Scuffers I didnt realise who you were as I dont tend to get involved in any technical discussions. I think it was actually you or Geary that told me about the time saving on the gearbox. Anyway I think people will be surprised if they bump into you during the TA meets this year as you are far more personable than you let on on this thread :D I bottled the purchase of the link up Elise as well BTW :(

Why not get ariel to retrofit the v8's seq box to it? This can be done as i know someone who is getting it done.

It's a Sadev ST82... It's a good gearbox but a bit low on torque rating for what we plan to do...

I am, but I'm in France...
I was asking in case someone with an AA already checked that ;)

I know of a Quiafe QBE34G (dog) sequential box, second hand up for sale soon/at the moment with the adapter plate for an F23. Comes from a nearly finished VX220 race car project by someone I know of in Scotland. SUPER CLUTCH TWIN PLATE CLUTCH & 7.25" FLYWHEEL QUAIFE 6 SPEED SEQUENTIAL QBE34G DOG GEARBOX It looks almost brand new in the pics I was sent, if anyone is interested.
