What happens with the hole at the top of the inlet gasket?

Someone said in another thread that it needs to be blocked as the z22se can't be mapped to take account of it?


you are talking about the wrong hole ;)

Cliffie has a Saab head so the oil breather would have been fully operational, however thats not good for the z22se SC ecu mapping, so the Saab head was modified during the engine build and that breather is now blanked off inside the head. So no need to do anything with the gasket :sleep:

Time this gets sorted in the ecu mapping. (Or fit a better ecu with a fully functional PCV system. :happy: )

OK, so all the bits that need to be on the new engine are now on the new engine. The box has already been on, and off again as is the Cliffie way. Aim to get the box back on in the morning and hoped to get the lump back in the chassis but the snow has kinda got in the way. Still, I have a few bits to clean up and get ready to go back in and I hope I may be able to round up a few bodies for a lift in.
