I dont get the chance/time to visit many forums and rarely comment on them. I visit a few once or twice a week and tend to browse the bits that may have something to do with me /Eliseparts. I may have misinterpreted the shiny bits comment but just to be 100% clear on my side I have never said any of the parts given to Mike were returnable under any circumstances. As Mike said, Simon introduced me to him late last year, parts were agreed/given purely to prove the point that our development parts could ( and did) improve the handling on the VX220. One of Mikes comments to me initially once they were all installed was that it was a different car and he would have to learn to drive it all over again as it had so much more potential. I believe ( and I think Mike would agree) that if he had more time in the car and with a larger pair of testis he would have done even better ( timewise) . That said he still had a great TA year, won the series and I am very pleased for him and to have helped in some way Geary

Will you be having an interest in a car in Time Attack next season?

With regards to Mikes car there is not a lot more that I can supply that will make it much quicker, if Mike decides to do another season with it hopefully he will get more track time and take full advantage of its potential. Sponsorship wise I won't be involved with any cars. Many hundreds of race cars throughout the world already have my parts on them and are doing well and winning races/series These people get a discount from me and I ask zero in return, not even stickers on the cars. I do get asked by teams /competitors/customers for stickers but I simply have not got round to it ( no idea why as its free advertising). Its a New Year resolution of mine to do better and ship out stickers with parts this year. Thanks Geary, it is good to see you on here.

As you say, it has transformed the car and has been markedly quicker at all circuits we have revisited this year and a 51 at Brands is two seconds quicker than I have ever been. There is a sub 50 in the car but as Geary says, I need to learn the car more and grow bigger ones for Paddock Hill Bend.

This may be the end of my Time Attacking but it is not the end of the car. I now want people to drive it and try it out and see the difference Geary, Simon and Matt Bentley have made.

Me too please, I find it hard to judge my own car without some reference points. In particular I'd be interested to see how the cornering/bump handling/steering of it compare.

Geary

I was aware of your company's involvement in the car, but not following Mike's build thread I have no idea what components were fitted.  Clearly they have achieved great things, but it is a shame we don't have more visibility of the parts used and the differences they made.

And as for the queue to drive.......perhaps book a TD at a decent circuit and the drivers can pay the cost?

I will dig out the pictures I took at MBR of the parts that Matt fitted to Mikes car and post them up on here and on Matt's website

Cheers

Hi Mike (Cliffie)

What differential are you running on this car? If I may ask

And again, congratulations to that victory. Is the white exige S1 with front wing driving in the same class as you?

Per,

The S1 driven by Scuffers, owned by Jamie was in the class above Mike. (Pro)

I am running a Quaife ATB. Currently sitting in a cafe in Zandvoort waiting for a pizza. Looking forward to meeting smiley and examantaa tomorrow and getting on track. I will get a track day organised next year and will invite a few who may be in the market for the GT uprights conversion to come and try the car on a you bend it, you mend it basis.

The bits that made the difference this year Andrew are:

EP Tuning GT uprights front and rear

EP Tuning ally belled discs

EP Tuning four pots all round

Pagid pads

Quantun two way dampers

EP Tuning 1" ARB

The difference is night and day and worth 3 seconds round Brands Indy so far and I know there is a sub 50 in the car round there.
