We're not going to have two cars looking almost identical are we?

Think Cliffie is planning to wrap his real carbon roof and coupe back in a (maybe body) coloured vinyl.

Jules, fear ye not, Joe's car and my car could not look more different if we tried. Plan was to wrap the carbon roof and coupe but I am swinging towards a clear lacquer now. Opinions??? Chris, I have my soldering iron but I could do with some wire I think. I know Luke did the plates but I am still to rivet them in so the job stays on till it is done.

Big thanks to Chris UK who came down Friday straight from work, sat and played Mario Kart with Oliver then spent all day doing great things and making progress. So, brakes are bled, pedal box is remounted, new wheels went on, front clam fixed and fitted, fire extinguisher fitted, plumbed and powered, dash board fitted, drivers seat fitted, steering column surround fitted, de-lightening'd, hardtop fitted, coupe back bit fitted, handbrake completed, poly side windows fitted and doors stripped. Not a bad days work.

Boo hiss, I have a similar finish on my carbon bits Lee, I was looking at a gloss lacquer for those.

Yep, because tms never used a clear coat on them, the dirt gets ingrained into the weave. Also, the weave absorbs the lacquer. The paint shop did try, but it wasnt to be :(

Looking like a race car now, sterling effort gents, need to paint the top and rear cover IMHO. Joe is doing the crazy ott version, to great effect, this needs to be the more oem sleeper option. FWIW thumbsup Sleeper? Is that the right word, I' m meaning wolf in sheep's clothing type of thing.

the new wheels at the back look like a 9j, I much prefer this wheels design of the hub and wheel bolt , as it has a nice curve on it to match the fronts.
