ah, max has the sill covers still in place, so the air leaks to the engine bay

Especially with no roof seals etc... At least with a "sealed cabin" the cabin would pressurize to a certain extent... in Mike's case, as much air that rushes in rushes out through the unsealed windows.

Last I saw it (before today) it was very much 'in build'. Having seen (and sat in) it today, it really does do credit to the massive amount of work that Mike, Chris and everyone else has put into it. It really does look mental!

Where can Ifind those side mirrors? or whats the size of them?
Also whats the front tire size?

Thank you, Per

More thorney bashing? you do it far too often tbh

I'm not a great fan of JT if i'm honest..over the years I've seen too much BS.

But at least he puts his balls on the block and drives what he builds.

To be fair im impressed with JT doing touring cars and enjoy his spiel. I wasnt a forum member through the bad times but can relate to someone with no budget but enjoys track driving. Wouldnt go there for a map or be in a rush to buy a thorney tuned car but i do think you lot should lay off him. Hes been and gone in the vx world let it be.

I am bashing cliffie for his lack off originality :D

I am sure he will understand, even if others don't

Atom is poking me for acquiring and using the ex TMS Britcars panels and wing and not John Thorne. I have the roof, coupe rear and wing from John's old race car and have to admit, it does look like a red version of of his green one. I can take it on the chin though. I see it as re-cycling.

I have a gimp suit, worry not FLD, and if you get a pass out for Cadwell you could be in the gimp tent. Looking good Darcini, will you drop them at Cadwell?
