Would like to create a logo on some metal parts I'm developing and wondering if the VX logo font is a standard font, or not?

A-Z and 0-9 would be cool!. I need the font as I'm looking at designing some aluminium side-bars (to go above the doors where the roof supports go) to support surf boards :D . If I had the font I can use that in the cad system to include a VX-style logo within the aluminium sidebar.

Maybe ask JT where he got the font for the www.VX220.org.uk logo? It's not an exact match but complements it very nicely. Would be nice to have the logo plus our forum names on a set of trackday number plates...

:P I was thinking of paying proper money for them - something to offer from the shop... 3/4 size front plus std size rear. Say £30 or £40 a set?

Could you do A-Z and 0-9?

Dragging up a bit of an old one here... well not that old.

I'm working on a complete font A-Z (and the swedish åäö :P ) only capital letters ofcourse. 0-9 and some special characters

I have finished A-Ö may have to do some minor adjustments and create the rest... And then put it together in a font file...

Yup, there will be a .ttf (true type font) version.

And to answer some other questions in the thread. I suspect that the logo is drawn from scratch since the same letters aren't exactly the same shape either. There is probably no font availible anywere.

Therefor the font can't be exactly "correct" but I have tried to create a font that will be as close as possible. In many cases we can never be shure but as long as it looks good things will probably be ok.

The logo is a bit special since the text doesn't even follow a horisontal line. My font will follow a horisontal line, if you want to create a look like in the logo you will have to rotate it a bit yourself in the graphics program you use, as I have done in my signature.

Here's my attempt at the font. Edit: I'm sorry, this is the debadged version.
