Jules, you might want to plan to come down this way to get a new hub fitted sometime :) The air power isn't quite as transportable as last week's kit. Makes mince meat of those bolts though.

No the wing nuts are M8. No idea where that bit of GRP is from then. Probably from the back of one of the jack nuts I replaced.

I'll look again in the morning ;)

And having taken a better look at my wishbones etc this afternoon I'll take you up on that offer on the hub(s)...it may involve *cough* a bit more work in the surrounding areas though

Hours and hours indeed Chris

With JJJ's efforts (trailer etc) JG and Lee, me and Dad probably 30ish hours.....so far it's cost me £650 in total. Respect due; I'm guessing double the £££ at least if I didn't have the VX.org force behind me.

Joe needs a shout for getting the PA rad over here on return post too.

Next meet? Let's face it the SW lot are crap at arranging them lol...JG and Coco are coming over for the CwC meet on the 20th May and I've suggested a cheddar meet around that...

Late April maybe for a get together?

I'm happy to sort a run/food out ;)

As you know, JG came over to help out recently......his comment

Meh, I've seen worse

Posted Image

I just realised that it hasn't EVER been cleaned under there

Minus the footrest which is now in the dishwasher..

Posted Image

Baby wipes didn't cut the mustard; broke out the Autosol.....this may take a tad longer than I had hoped lol

Posted Image

Then went off to find the wingnuts....which I did. At the very same time debs came out of the kitchen clutching three bags of bolts and asks whether they are what I was looking for....

Posted Image

Good lord I'm aching now....all good fun though :)

Well, at least it's red, so it's probably come from your car. Looks like an M5, so rear diffuser/undertray?

Do you have silver cills Jules? I'm contemplating fitting my heater tomorrow...not feeling too keen to do it after seeing troubles you had 'just' removing a clam!!!

Nope ;) It was found under the front of the car (when it was parked uphill when you came over)...I've looked at it again and it's been broken for quite some time. probably fell off when me/old man jacked it up when it was facing down. i'm thinking one of the front rear undertray bolts atm We replaced all four M5 bolts to the front undertray..the other one was M8 fook knows why!?! Bled it to death. I took it to cheddar for a blat this afternoon and the coolant light came on mid run.....I've now got an emergency purchase 2 litre bottle of Evian in the boot ;)

Nope.

Sorry the other nope was replying to Techie. Heater is a clam off job then?

TBH I didn't have any worries whatsoever....James and Lee had all that grief ;)

As always...if you have the tools and knowledge the clam of is relatively easy
