Anyone know if there is a company out there witch will do restoration (polishing) of headlights? I have 2 lenses I could do with polishing properly, time being a factor of me. I was thinking of some polycarbonate polisher company?

Muncher did his own I think after heavy scratching (vandalism). I don't know if he looked into professional suppliers? Might be worth a PM

me being me used white masking tape to cover the headlight while I went to spray paint them I ended up leaving it masked up for some time Week or so  and now I have marks on my headlight with won't come off even with tar remover....

so looks like wet and dry required on both sides on the lense don't really have loads of time, I do have another headlight I can use though.

If I can't find anyone will try the something like this which uses a drill

if it gives me 2 headlight lenses back (i.e 2 headlights) in good condition for £70 that would be a good price.

be careful if using a machine polisher as you may burn the surface.

I read on here once that they are coated with UV resitant film to avoid deterioration over time - that'd have to be recoated on for longevity too...

Bizarrely I was bored today and stumbled came across his thread on overclockers about this. It was his rear lights though but surely the principle is the same and some uv coating could be reapplied to the fronts afterwards?
