Unless you don't fit the fuse, it will always feed power to the car. Those richbrook items are meant as extra immobilisers in that you can't crank with it 'disconnected' but everything else will work lol

should be alright tbh, seen as tho you will want to keep memory on your headunit etc you could do with that extra wire. Jimmy on the otherhand needs no power what so ever so a simple red switch would work fine.

Is a battery charger not an option? Not only does it keep the battery topped up it will make it last longer due to being charged properly (alternators dont charge batteries correctly!)

That richbrook item will completely kill the power as it isolates the battery. I'm not going to loop that extra wire in at all so can't see how it's supplying power to anything :) Charger's not an option as the car lives in a council garage!!

I'd consider a new battery if I were you, a week of alarm and radio shouldn't be enough to kill a healthy battery.
Jimmmmer has probably left something on in his lol

A week.... Mines been in the garage since October. It's on a SORN so can't do any road miles. I've been running it though Joe (before he tells me off  ).

It was a brand new battery last year so maybe it's a duff one. Might see if I can get a replacement one.

I have the red hella battery switch fitted to my dash it works really well. Car left in garage for 18 months nearly switch off returned 18months later turned red key waited for alarm to reset pressed button fob alarm off press the starter off she goes I learnt this with the silver one after going away for a month and returning to a flat battery then jumped it fcuked the ecu £££££££ later every thing good So first thing I did when I got this one was get plans to fit the big red key now it never drains !!!! Cliffie will back this up he was there when it was started.
