I have only considered wings to aide my rollerskating ability
Looks nice
I like the way the car has been adapted
some people mess with the oily bits and others the plasticky bit
it all the same really and because of it we have some really fast cool looking motors
Did I just say that ?
I just brushed a tear from my eye.

Looks good, all your effort paid off in the end.
Is the lip spoiler staying on, have you checked the condition of the paint underneath? Can't help but think it looks a little odd with both on (but still OK) that's probably only because we are used to the car though it might not seem so strange to others less familiar with it. I would remove mine if it was not for the damaged laquer underneath.
Agree all your car needs now is different / tinted indicators, oh and non rusty fuel cap bolts!
Yeah agree, tinted indicators (i like yours) and fuel cap bolts lol. I've just wrapped the fuel filter just now... was going to paint it but it might flake off when taking the fuel cap on and off

There are more of those spoilers on VX's now than Exiges...
Personally (and please don't take this the wrong way...) I just don't like the look of the spoiler on the VX it looks (IMHO) totally out of proportion to there rest of the cars lines.

Yeah some people dont like it but others do. It does actually look likes its meant to be there when you look at it in real life, the way the supports point outwards flows with the clam if you get me

Watch out for that wing wobble!
Glad you're happy with it though.
It does wobble but but not silly. Noticable wobble about 70ph + when looking behind but it doesnt jump up and down like mad, mates who have drove behind have said they havent noticed it. It does wobble a bit when going over hard bumps/potholes

did you mount the spoiler on the clam or does it go down to the chassis some how?
looking good, not a big fan of big wings but you've certainly done a nice job on your vx so far.
Just to the clam mate

Apparently the OEM one on the new Exige wobbles just as much so I guess that's the way Lotus designed it.

Can you open the boot ok ?
is it a bit of a drama ?
Yeah theres a finger gap between boot lid and spoiler. No drama, just open from the side
