Speaking to MartinS about this one over the weekend...not sure if I can make it...seem to see enough of Le Mans through my involvement in the 24 hours and Classic. Understand that simple things like taxis and restaurant bookings in town can be problematic. Through our network I'd be happy to arrange stuff in Le Mans for those going e.g. get a group booking at a restaurant, make sure taxis arrive to pick everyone up from the Mercure into town and back etc. We have good relationships with a number of local companies, so should be able to make everything simple and smoooove. Non-commercial offer of course - just want everyone to have a great weekend...especially if I earn the browny points to get my VXT over there

Update from Claude regarding the Mercure.

Cheers guys, nice feedbacks from you :-)

Back to room price and at the end we JUST get down to... 44E/room/night! And that's our agreement :-)

Believe me, this is truly a VG price. so low that expect small raises in the coming years probably, but starting that low is really a good partner price and good for the community. Also they are still as nice with us as ever, despite the hard trading :-)

Mercure will from 2mo on start replying to your ongoing mails / bookings, we will also update our website banner, err, whenever we can...

Anyone tell me I booked the package do I need to email the hotel now? or do they put rooms aside under our LOT user name? I need an extra night also

LoT will handle the first two nights automatically (though you never see anything so it's a leap of faith). Just email the hotel, tell them you'll be there for the Fri/Sat with LoT and ask to book the Sunday night. thumbsup
