On the ferry , shortly will dock in newhaven. We had a great weekend, thanks to all who made it happen, and especially to Sutol and Deidre and JG for their hospitality, and Sizten for helping with a brake fluid change so I could do the full day on the Bugatti- I haven't forgotten that I owe you a drink, you snuck off before I got the chance to buy one!

Just got back to Caen, bit early for the boat so having the third golden arches of the trip.

Excellent trip, thanks to JG for organising the restaurant last night. Thanks to Jo for making sure we all got the busses on time and thanks to everyone else for the good company.

Fantastic weekend away. I really do enjoy the Bugatti. But what makes the weekend so enjoyable is the company. Got some vid which I will forward on to Wrightstuff if he's doing another video. If we go again I'm sure we can do a Le Mans Stylee rolling start of all the VX's up the pit straight - pretty please

It wasn't just at Dieppe, there was madness at Cherbourg too where the French crew decided to go on strike for an hour just before boarding. Typical !

I'll see if my wife managed to video anything of you from the pit wall. She managed to film just about everything other than my car for noise comparison purposes (apart from when I cruised up there on a slow down lap at not much more than idle).

They had 2 drivers on it. The owner had a near miss on the Maison Blanche circuit when he tried a lap with al the electronics OFF

You were far from the loudest car there, from what I heard. Biggest surprise for me was how loud the Evora was.

Ok, the car has a strange story on the exhaust front... It was ordered from the factory with the optional stainless steel silencer, and a cat bypass tube. But the first owner found it not noisy enough, so had another silencer made, a very tiny cherrybomb one ! It was then so noisy he had the catalyst back to lower the noise And that's what I have now, a tiny ridiculous cherrybomb with a restrictive OE style cat...
